The Best Way to Change Your Life

Let me just start by saying, I’m no psycho-mental-health-coach-life Guru. I’m simply a woman that’s been there and done that. My life has consisted of blood, sweat and tears, but most importantly, I made it through and there were good times in between. Let us not forget the good! Our brains tend to want to remember all the awful moments in our life. Why is that? (still trying to figure it out). But I do believe getting through all the bad in our lives shape us into being the strong, beautiful, mom’s, sisters, wives, women we are today.

I’m here to tell you that TODAY you can start to make the changes that YOU want to make in your life, and it starts with your MIND.

A Mama’s Mentallity

Do I really need to tell you about mom brain? Well for those of you that do not know. My definition of mom brain is the dysfunction of the mind after having kids. Our hormones, fatigue, work, house, cleaning, finances, husband, baby and repeat! Now BREATH…..inhale….exhale.

I don’t know about your brain, but mine spins just thinking about it. My theory is, that the spinning is what causes me to constantly forget things. Ummm what was I about to say?…Oh yea… Not only that, but it can make you feel anxious, which makes you feel like you’re going crazy.

OK mama, now go back to your deep slow breaths. You can do this! I’m here to help. My specialty is POSITIVITY. Now say it with me POS-I-TIV-I-TY. ( That was my Dora voice by the way).

You see, your mental state will put you on an emotional, negative, roller coaster if you let it. This is what we are trying to avoid, but how?

Change Your Mind, Change Your Life

You CAN change. Change how you feel by changing the way you think. When I felt stuck in my job, I always told myself that I was stuck, I can’t do anything else. (There’s that negative word CAN’T) That was my problem, my brain kept hearing that word. When your mind repeats the same thing over and over, you start believing it.

It’s just like when babies learn, they see the same things being done over and over and they start to do it, whether good or bad. Our brain sees that negative word and that is how we start to react and think.

I was told to replace the word can’t with CAN. I was told this so many times, but guess what, my brain still told me I couldn’t. My brain kept doing that for years, until it was tired and literally felt like it would go crazy.

Is this where you are today? is your brain tired of telling you that same negative phrase over and over? Well I’m not going to tell you to replace the word can’t with can and then everything will be all better. That’s simply not reality. But, it is a good place to start.

Write it Down

I am a very visual person, and what started helping to change my mindset was writing things down. I went out and bought a really cute notebook (I love stationary by the way) and started pouring out all of my thoughts on paper, whether they were good or bad. Just seeing my thoughts and going back and rereading them helped me so much, it was very cathartic. If you have never done this, I highly recommend it.

I would write, cry, write, cry more and cry while writing. Afterwards, I felt so good. I felt like a weight had been lifted off of my chest every time I wrote. I still do this, but I have to say my pages are not filled with as many tears, and that is a good thing.

This is where I want you to be. If you are currently at a low point in your life, please don’t feel like you are a lost cause. As long as you are breathing, there is still hope and you have the ability, the power to turn things around.

This is just step one, changing your mind and how you view your life is very important and it affects the steps you take and the kind of life you live. I sincerely want you to be happy and live your best life!

So How Does Virtual Boss Mom Come into Play

Well I’m a mom and I’m a boss and I work at home. I’ve been working at home for about 6 years now, but recently just started a different business venture.

My friends and their friends are constantly asking me how can they work from home. Well there are so many things you can do and tons of websites out there to help you. There being so much information, you may be asking, where do I start? I still don’t know what to do or how to do it?

This is the purpose of Virtual Boss Mom. I’m here to help you figure it out. On the about us page, I mention a little about being scammed back in the day when the Internet really started becoming popular. It’s no fun losing all your money (tears) and some of you may know what I mean.

Years later is when I realized I didn’t have the right mindset. I was trying to create a happy and positive life while still having a negative view of things.

For example, I hated my job, but I was trying to remain positive about starting my own business. I wanted to quit my job so bad that it was eating me up inside. This caused me to make stupid, hasty decisions. That in turn made me an easy target for scammers.

I HAD to get my mind right.

Well one thing I had to change was the way I was going about it. I stopped focusing on how much I hated my job, and viewed it as a way to fund my business. I had to make some sacrifices to do so. I used my job instead of letting them use me. In the back of my mind, I knew I would not be there much longer. I was determined!

That was the fuel I needed to start fresh, take my time and put on a business mindset. From that day forward, I would do my job in peace knowing things would change.

Today

This leads me to where I am today. I still work on having and creating a positive mind every day. In this constantly changing world, you have to.

I currently do all my work and business at home in a setting that is comfortable for me. I’m current using The Wealthy Affiliate platform to work my business, which has been a pure blessing. This is where I get a lot of my ideas, training and the ultimate support in my business. I’ve learned so much more than affiliate marketing. This is where I have learned about blogging, website building, keyword research, how to manage WordPress, the list goes on.

I am here today to help you find your way. You can be a mom boss, working virtually from home. Whatever you want to do. I’ll do what is within my power to help and keep you motivated. If you have any questions or comments please leave them below.

    This is an amazing and wonderful  post, thanks for sharing this life changing post, have always believe that the mind is the tool to archiving extra ordinary, for any thing to be archived, it most first be dreamed of from the mind, so I f u change your mind set, you change your life.
